Arepas
These delicious (wheat free) fat corn cakes are the perfect stand in for bread. A Venezuelan specialty made from white corn masa,
Arepas are ideal for those seeking a healthier, affordable meal. Arepas are fried in sunflower oil, lightly baked and served sandwich
style with your choice of the fillings below. In Venezuela, and at my best friend’s house here in Portland, arepas are often served for
the ‘cena,’ a light late-evening supper. Welcome to the Arepa Revolution. I hope you enjoy your meal.
*Our meats are from Cascade Hills and are organic, hormone free and cage free.
*The corn masa is processed in a facility that also processes wheat.
